Welcome
We offer 15 to 30 minute face-to-face appointments for a wide range of routine health concerns. Whether you’re dealing with an acute illness, would like to discuss specific symptoms or worries, have a chronic health conditions you would like monitored or a general check up, our experienced GP’s are hear to help. We can address common ailments, investigate your symptoms, provide prescriptions, sicklines and refer you to specialists if needed.
Choose Your GP Appointment
- Designed to give you enough time with the GP to discuss your concerns. Please choose this option if you would like longer with the GP, if you have more than one problem or if you have a chronic more complex problem.
There are some conditions that are better treated elsewhere. Please do not book an appointment for the below :
- Acute chest pain – please attend local Emergency Department
- Acute breathing difficulties – please attend local Emergency Department
- Pregnancy related conditions – please contact your midwife/antenatal clinic
- Accidents/Trauma including head injuries – attend your local minor injuries/Emergency Department
- Dental problems – please contact your dentist
- Chronic pain – please see your usual GP/chronic pain team dealing with this condition
Here’s a list of some of the symptoms for which you might consult a Private GP:
Acute Infections:
Such as sore throat, ear infections, sinusitis, chest infections, flu, skin infections and urinary tract infections.
Moles, Rashes and Skin Conditions:
Including eczema, dermatitis, acne, psoriasis and unidentified rashes or change in size, colour or shape of a mole.
Ear, Nose & Throat:
Hayfever, rhinitis, postnasal drip, persisting sore throat or hoarseness.
Respiratory Issues:
Concerns regarding chronic cough, breathlessness on exertion or at rest, possible asthma diagnosis or poor symptom control.
Abdominal Pain:
Including stomach aches, bloating, heartburn and general discomfort.
Altered Bowl Habit:
Acute or chronic constipation, diarrhoea, change in bowel habit or PR bleeding.
Palpitations:
Irregular heartbeats or a sensation of a racing or pounding heart.
Urinary Problems:
Urgency, frequency, poor flow, recurrent UTI’s, nocturia and incontinence.
