Dr McArthur is a highly qualified and experienced GP who has been practicing medicine for 2 decades. She completed her medical degree at the University of Glasgow before returning to Northern Ireland to complete her GP training at Bloomfield Surgery. After completing her training, Dr McArthur worked as a GP in Perth, Australia for three years before returning to Bloomfield Surgery as a GP partner.

She is a respected member of the local medical community, being involved in developing integrated care pathways and sitting on the local GP Federation. In addition to her work as a GP, Dr McArthur is actively involved in medical education, serving as a trainer for medical students. For patients dealing with chronic conditions like diabetes or heart disease, Dr McArthur provides ongoing support and guidance, helping them to manage their condition so they can improve their overall health and wellbeing. She is also a strong advocate for preventative medicine, working with patients to identify risk factors and take proactive steps to prevent illness before it occurs.

Dr McArthur is also passionate about mental health and wellbeing, recognizing the important role that mental health plays in overall health and quality of life. She has a wealth of experience in woman’s health and can help with contraception, menstrual and menopause issues.. Outside of her work as a GP, Dr McArthur enjoys spending time doing most water sports, staying active and most of all enjoys being a mum.
Dr. Katie Harper​

Dr Katie Harper completed her medical degree at the University of Glasgow and her General Practice training in Northern Ireland. She has been practising medicine for 15 years with nearly a decade of experience as a GP. Her current NHS role is as a GP Partner at Bloomfield Surgery, Bangor.

Dr Harper has completed further training in family planning and can fit for all types of coil and the contraceptive implant. She also does sessions for the Family Planning Service locally. Dr Harper enjoys all aspects of General Practice, however she has a special interest and a wealth of experience in Family Planning, Women’s Health, Menopause, Lifestyle medicine and Diabetes.

Dr Harper is passionate about providing high quality care to her patients, as well as empowering patients to understand, manage and improve their physical and mental health.

Dr Harper is also involved in medical education within General Practice, serving as a trainer for medical students. Outside of work, Dr Harper enjoys participating in charity running events and outdoor activities such as sailing, paddle boarding, and sea swimming whilst prioritising spending time and having fun with her family, friends, and dog. This highlights her dedication to self-care and allows her to approach her work with a clear mind and a renewed sense of energy, which ultimately benefits her patients. Outside of work, Dr Harper enjoys keeping active, reading, travel and having fun with her family.

Dr Crowe trained at the University of St Andrews and the University of Manchester before returning to Northern Ireland. Her 15 years’ experience as a GP provides her with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in primary care.

Her current NHS role is as a GP Partner at Loughview Medical Centre. Dr Crowe is a highly compassionate and caring GP who values the importance of individualised patient care.

She has a particular interest in lifestyle medicine and holistic care, which allows her to take a comprehensive approach to patients needs.

She encourages her patients to adopt healthy lifestyle habits to achieve optimal health outcomes. Her passion for elderly care, mental health, and women's health highlights her dedication to improving the health and wellbeing of her patients.

Dr Crowe recognises that each patient is unique and tailors their treatment plan accordingly. Her approach to patient care is centred around building strong relationships with her patients, which helps to establish trust and open communication. .
